engagement {Blanca & Chris} san francisco, ca

Blanca and Chris loved the beauty of San Francisco City Hall. And I love the light and architecture that city hall has to offer. Since we started the session in the late afternoon, we pretty much had the place to ourselves--a rare occurrence since city hall is always bustling with people. I also loved how Blanca's pink dress popped against the white interior. After exhausting city hall, we headed to Blanca and Chris' second local along the waterfront. Blanca had seen previous postings on my blog and just loved the pier along the Embarcadero and all it has to offer. The night light served as a perfect backdrop for the chemistry of Blanca and Chris. Blanca and Chris, I am so excited about your wedding day. I can't believe that it will be here in less than a month. Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

engagement {Clarissa & Jon} san francisco, ca

I love Clarissa and Jon's engagement session. Clarissa and Jon chose to start their e-session at the Palace of Fine Arts--a quintessential, old school San Francisco setting. The light and clouds were a perfect combination to highlight the beauty, romance and chemistry of this couple. A wardrobe change later and we were off to what I would like to call "new" San Francisco. This location for e-sessions has become very popular with my bride and grooms, and I have to say it is one of my favorite settings in the city--with the 360 degree views of--the city skyline, Ferry Building, Bay Bridge, Coit Tower, Transamerica Pyramid, Treasure Island--you can see why. :) Clarissa and Jon, Wow! What a session! Thanks for making the trek from Oregon. (Clarissa, you rocked it in her red bottom shoes and white pants not to mention your lace, black dress-Hot!) Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey

engagement {Lindsay & Diego} san francisco, ca

When it came time to photograph Lindsay and Diego’s engagement session, this smitten couple had a lot of ideas and scouted out several areas in San Francisco.  But when your groom has access to some beautiful sailboats, you know you are in for a treat.  We started in the Presidio to capture the beauty of the redwood tress as well as some of the historic masonry buildings found nearby.  The amazing thing about San Francisco, is that within a 5 minute radius, you can be in the Redwoods and then on a boat in the bay with the city ski-line looming in the background.  After Diego prepped the German sailboat, we were off for a beautiful un-seasonable warm winter evening on the bay.  Granted there was limited wind for ideal sailing but picture perfect nonetheless. Lindsay and Diego, thank you for putting together beautiful day. It is amazing how a well thought out session can make for such a relaxed fun day. Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey
