I love Clarissa and Jon's engagement session. Clarissa and Jon chose to start their e-session at the Palace of Fine Arts--a quintessential, old school San Francisco setting. The light and clouds were a perfect combination to highlight the beauty, romance and chemistry of this couple. A wardrobe change later and we were off to what I would like to call "new" San Francisco. This location for e-sessions has become very popular with my bride and grooms, and I have to say it is one of my favorite settings in the city--with the 360 degree views of--the city skyline, Ferry Building, Bay Bridge, Coit Tower, Transamerica Pyramid, Treasure Island--you can see why. :) Clarissa and Jon, Wow! What a session! Thanks for making the trek from Oregon. (Clarissa, you rocked it in her red bottom shoes and white pants not to mention your lace, black dress-Hot!) Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey
engagement {Kellee & Mike} piedmont ave, oakland, ca
I was delighted to get the phone call from Kellee to hear that she was engaged to Mike and that she wanted me to photograph her wedding. One of the reasons I was so excited, was that I had already photographed her sister Laurel's wedding, her niece's newborn photos as well as her Brother's wedding. Their engagement session is as unique and cool as they are. (Can you imagine how sweet it would be to have these two as your high school teachers?!) It was very important that they begin their session at their favorite coffee shop on Piedmont Avenue in Oakland--Timeless Coffee Roasters & Bakery. Mike's great friend owns and operates the joint and was kind enough to let us photograph there. After sipping on some hot pressed tea, iced coffee, and eating some organic baked treats, we headed to "park." We were soon off to a graffiti wall and than back home where their sweet little pooches were happily waiting. Kellee & Mike, thanks so much for creating an amazing session. You two are so cool! I can't wait for your wedding day! Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey
engagement {Emily & Brant} walnut creek, ca
A Spring engagement session is a great time to take photos. Everything is green and starting to bloom. Emily selected a rural engagement session and it happened to be where she rode horses as a young girl. What I loved the most about this session is how you can see that these two are meant for each other--the way Brant touches the small of her back or the way he lightly kisses the side of her cheek and the way Emily responds with a sweet smile or giggle. Emily & Brant, I loved photographing you two! And especially loved laughing with you. Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey
