I had the neat experience of photographing this couple who is not only adventurous and beautiful but are very close friends of mine. Take Justin’s passion for flying planes together with Molly’s spirit of adventure and the result is they have logged some pretty amazing memories together. A Spring engagement session is a great time to take photos. Everything is green and starting to bloom. Emily selected a rural engagement session and it happened to be where she rode horses as a young girl. What I loved the most about this session is how you can see that these two are meant for each other--the way Brant touches the small of her back or the way he lightly kisses the side of her cheek and the way Emily responds with a sweet smile or giggle. engagement {Lindsay & Diego} san francisco, ca
When it came time to photograph Lindsay and Diego’s engagement session, this smitten couple had a lot of ideas and scouted out several areas in San Francisco. But when your groom has access to some beautiful sailboats, you know you are in for a treat. We started in the Presidio to capture the beauty of the redwood tress as well as some of the historic masonry buildings found nearby. The amazing thing about San Francisco, is that within a 5 minute radius, you can be in the Redwoods and then on a boat in the bay with the city ski-line looming in the background. After Diego prepped the German sailboat, we were off for a beautiful un-seasonable warm winter evening on the bay. Granted there was limited wind for ideal sailing but picture perfect nonetheless.
