On the outside this wedding nestled in the mountains of Los Gatos, is a gorgeous, seamless blend of color and charm crafted by the bride, Courtney, with floral coordination by Chestnut & Vine. But the unabridged, uncensored layer of this beautiful wedding, is it’s soul--a celebration of family and love. Courtney’s dear father lost his battle with cancer not too long ago—yet the helicopter that flew overhead at the exact moment when Courtney’s brother was giving her away to Keith, was a special reminder of Dad, and how he always made an entrance and full of life, strength and beautiful energy (see photo below). Patrick Reed, I dedicate this blog post to you. If it wasn’t for you 5+ years ago giving me a chance to photograph Casey and Ben’s wedding when I virtually had no prior wedding photography experience, I would not have been blessed to have met and been a part of so many beautiful moments in your family’s lives.
